The Global Esports Games (GEG) 2023 is the flagship event of the Global Esports Federation. The third edition took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from December 12 to 16, 2023. GEG 2023 was a multi-title global esports competition that showcased the vibrancy of esports through elite tournaments and a dynamic celebration of esports culture and entertainment within the Esports Festival.

The event welcomed over 950 athletes from more than 100 countries and regions around the world, competing at the highest level. GEG 2023 united the global community through the power of esports.

Hosting the third edition in the Kingdom aligns with the goals and aspirations of Saudi Arabia’s National Gaming and Esports Strategy, as the country aims to become a global hub for esports, driven by the efforts of the Saudi Esports Federation.

The Riyadh 2023 Esports Festival aimed to strengthen and connect the global gaming community, fostering engagement among esports fans worldwide. Under the hashtag #WorldConnected, the event brought together 950 professional players from across the globe to compete and showcase their talents.
